Our standard

We build and test chimmelier.com against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and California's Unruh Civil Rights Act.

What we do on this site

• Every page works with a keyboard alone: a "Skip to content" link, visible focus outlines, and no keyboard traps.
• Text and buttons meet AA color-contrast minimums; the site respects your "reduce motion" and high-contrast settings.
• Images carry descriptive alternative text; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• Pages use proper headings, landmarks, and form labels so assistive technology can navigate them.
• Text can be resized to 200% without breaking the layout, and the site works on phones and tablets.
• We run automated accessibility checks (axe-core) on every page before each release and fix what they find.

In our restaurants

Both locations — 2500 W 8th St, Koreatown and 1253 Vine St, Hollywood — have step-free entrances and accessible seating. Our menu is available online in text form (not just as an image), and staff are happy to read the menu aloud or help with ordering. Service animals are always welcome.

Third-party services

Online ordering runs on SpotOn, and some delivery links go to partner apps. We choose partners who publish their own accessibility commitments, but we don't control those sites. If one of them gives you trouble, call us and we'll take your order by phone.
