Chimmelier started here — as a pandemic pop-up in this Koreatown parking lot in 2020, before there was a sign or a dining room. In January 2023 the pop-up moved into the strip-mall shop at 2500 W 8th St, and it is still the original.
What you get: Korean fried chicken fried twice so the crust stays crispy under the glaze, in nine flavors from OG to Buldak. Wings, drum & thigh, tenders, four K-Chicken burgers, and pocha classics like tteokbokki, kimchi fried rice and tteok fries. Every meal comes with a side and a soda, and pickled radish comes with everything.
We're a five-minute walk from the Wilshire/Vermont Metro station and the K-Town nightlife on 6th St. Open late, every day.
