We serve Korean fried chicken with attitude: crunchy, craveable, and made to be shared. But the food is only part of the story. Chimmelier is about the feeling around it too — late-night laughter, street-side nostalgia, cold drinks, good company, and the kind of atmosphere that turns a meal into a memory.

Inspired by retro Korean visuals and brought to life through our characters Chim and Jil, Chimmelier is designed to be instantly recognizable, emotionally memorable, and culturally rooted. Every sauce, every box, every poster, and every detail is part of a bigger experience.

We’re here to celebrate Korean flavor in a way that feels fresh, expressive, and global without losing authenticity.

Chimmelier was established in 2020 following the closure of an earlier concept that launched in 2019. After rebuilding in Koreatown, Los Angeles, the team developed a new direction centered on quality, identity, and long-term growth. The concept gained traction through its food, branding, and connection to the surrounding community, eventually expanding to a second location in 2024.

More than just a restaurant, Chimmelier reflects a broader cultural approach that brings together food, design, and social experience. Located in the Melrose Arts District, the space and menu are designed for casual meals, late-night dining, and shared moments, rooted in comfort food and shaped for a modern audience.
